What is Nostr?
Nostr is a simple open protocol for decentralized social apps.
- Cryptographic keys You get a keypair — your identity is your public key. No company account required.
- Signed JSON events You publish signed JSON — notes, messages, profiles, or anything apps agree on.
- Simple relay servers Relays store and forward events. There is no central database.
